Thank you for your interest in our exciting new Consumer eHealth initiative. As you’ve heard, TELUS has exclusively licensed Microsoft’s HealthVault’s technology to launch a pan Canadian consumer e-health service under the name of TELUS Health Space, Powered by Microsoft HealthVault.

We anticipate rolling out this service within a 12 month period. A vibrant ecosystem is a crucial component of the success of this first ever Consumer Health Platform in Canada. We’re now engaging in discussions with potential Solution Providers and industry stakeholders.

The service will provide individual Canadians a single integrated platform that allows for both application and device connectivity and for getting health information from existing applications. We’re developing an approach to enabling the ecosystem to ensure that the right partners are selected and ported to the platform. Our goal is to deliver industry relevant applications that are best in class and that will deliver value for consumers and health providers alike. With that in mind, TELUS is working proactively with various solution providers to develop a Canadian consumer-centric ecosystem, inline with that of Microsoft U.S. HealthVault platform’s over 100 partners, almost 50 HealthVault enabled applications and over 50 HealthVault compatible devices.
